Do you buy _________ ?
We buy most gold, silver, and platinum coins as well as gold jewelry that is stamped with the Karat (24k, 22k, 18k, 14k, 10k), silver flatware and holloware that is stamped "Sterling", silver jewelry that is stamped "Sterling", "Ster", or "925" and platinum jewelry that is stamped "950" or "900". We do not buy anything that is unmarked, or is not made of gold, silver, or platinum. We do not buy diamonds or other stones. For more on what we do and do not buy, please see our What We Buy page.
What do you pay for __________ ?
Do you send out a "Gold Pack" or pay for shipping?
No! A long time ago we did this simply because all of the "Cash For Gold" guys did it and we thought it would be expected. We soon discovered that it encouraged a lot of strange people to send strange things that were not gold or silver. The postage costs added up and affected what we could pay for gold and silver. Since then, we greatly increased the prices we pay in exchange for you, the customer, covering the minimal postage costs. We have found that the intelligent customer could easily do the math to discover they are much better off this way. In addition, it allows YOU to decide how to send your items... USPS, Fedex, or UPS.
I'm nervous about sending my valuables to strangers. Why should I trust you?
We understand. And, it would be foolish not to be concerned about this. When we first started in 2007, we weren't sure how people would react to the prospect of sending their items through the mail to us. Many thousands of satisfied customers later, it just seems "normal". First, regardless of who you decide to sell to, you should check them out with the Better Business Bureau. We are an Accredited Company with the BBB and have an A+ Rating. Better yet, we have NEVER had a single complaint...EVER. That is unheard of in this business. You can read our Better Business Bureau Report HERE. You can also browse through some of our customer testimonials HERE.
How are you able to pay more than jewelers, pawn shops, "cash for gold" places, coin dealers and other online buyers?
One is because those places pay notoriously little for your valuables. They tend to take advantage of people they perceive as being "desperate".
The other reason is that, unlike typical gold and silver buyers, we do not melt anything. We technically sell your items on your behalf via a network of various online auction and sales sites. Since we can accurately predict what your items will bring, we can pay you immediately so you do not have to wait until the items are sold.
